How to submit a nomination
To nominate an individual for an honorary degree, please follow the following nomination submission procedures:
Fill in the form below, which includes a space for a short statement (250 words or less) of the key reasons why the individual should be considered. Nominations will be managed by the Office of the Vice President and University Secretary and considered by the Board of Trustees’ Committee on Honorary Degrees and Awards.
Nominations to the Committee will remain active for three years. If you have nominated anyone within the previous two years, renomination is not required; however, additional or updated materials may be submitted.
Online submission of nominations is strongly preferred and assures that your materials are received and processed in a timely manner. For those who prefer to submit a paper nomination, please send your materials by regular or campus mail or by fax to:
